There is no deadlock on the issue of Army Chief, the appointment is expected soon, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif

Web Desk: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that the process of appointment of Army Chief has started which will be completed soon, there is no deadlock on the matter.
Talking to the media after the meeting with the Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that after finding out about the well-being of the Prime Minister, he has fully recovered, the current political situation was discussed in the meeting.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif denied the news that Prime Minister House had received the summary regarding the appointment of the Army Chief and said that the Prime Minister is aware of the procedure regarding the appointment of the Army Chief and it will be completed soon. It will be discussed.
Khawaja Asif said that we have no pressure and no deadlock regarding the appointment of the Army Chief and the decision will be taken by trusting the leadership of the Pakistan Army. Discussions are being held with allies at all levels.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif further said that the summary regarding the appointment of the Army Chief will come in the next day. If there are 5 or 6 names in the summary from the Ministry of Defence, the dossier will also come with them.
