Prime Minister House received the summary of important appointments in Pakistan Army including Army Chief from GHQ
Web Desk: According to the details, the sources say that the summary containing the names of 6 senior officers for important appointments including the Army Chief has been received by the Prime Minister House.
Sources said that the first name in the summary is that of Lt. Gen. Asim Munir, while the second is that of Lt. Gen. Sahir Shamshad.
Sources say that the names of Lt. Gen. Azhar Abbas, Lt. Gen. Nauman Mehmood, Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed and Lt. Gen. Muhammad Amir are included in the summary.
It should be noted that the government will decide on the summary sent by GHQ after consultation and will select one of them as the army chief and then the summary will be sent to President Arif Alvi for approval.
On the other hand, the government has called a meeting of the parliamentary party of the coalition parties on the evening of November 23 to discuss important appointments and other domestic political situations.
