Motorcycles, one dead and one injured on the Misano circuit at the Amateur Trophy

One rider died and another was seriously injured in the afternoon on the Misano circuit (Rimini), during the second lap of the 600 Pro class motorbike race, Trofeo Italiano Amatori, included in the speed motorcycling Italian Cup programme.
The 27-year-old Federico Esposto from Rome lost his life, while Marco Sciutteri, a 31-year-old from Bologna, was transported by helicopter, in serious condition, to the hospital in Cesena. After the accident, the event, with 360 drivers competing in various races, was cancelled.
