Elon Musk, according to Forbes, is no longer the richest man in the world.
The founder of Tesla and SpaceX, and new owner of Twitter, has in fact been surpassed by Bernard Arnault and his family, owners of global luxury giant Lvmh. The overtaking was due to the sharp drop in Tesla shares (-6.3% on Monday and -4.1% on Tuesday) and the simultaneous increase in those of Lvmh. Musk’s wealth is valued by Forbes at $176.9 billion, compared to $186.6 billion in Arnault’s net worth.
