Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa paid farewell visit to various setups of Army Medical Corps including CMH.
Web Desk: According to ISPR, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Army Medical Corps installations in connection with his farewell visits, Surgeon General of Pakistan Army Lt. Gen. Nigar Johar also accompanied the Chief of Army Staff, Commandant CM H Major General Mohammad Mohsin Qureshi briefed the Army Chief about the latest medical facilities.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa also laid foundation stone of new training block of Armed Forces Post Graduate Institute, newly constructed military guest rooms, newly established Army Help Center and upgraded facilities of Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology. Also reviewed and appreciated the doctors and paramedical staff of Army Medical Corps.
The Army Chief was also shown the newly established control room at the academic center to train doctors through live surgery procedures.
The Army Chief said that quality health care for soldiers and their families is a key feature of the Army’s welfare system and important for the morale of the soldiers.
