Case of assets in excess of income against Ishaq Dar is over

Web Desk: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar got a big relief from the court, the accountability court closed the case of assets in excess of income against Federal Minister Ishaq Dar and sent the reference back to NAB.
Accountability Court Islamabad Judge Muhammad Basheer delivered a reserved judgment on the plea of acquittal against Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the assets in excess of income reference.
The court said that after the new amendment of NAB, we do not have jurisdiction over this case, they send this reference back to NAB.
It should be noted that a reference was filed by NAB against Ishaq Dar and other accused in December 2017. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, former president of National Bank Saeed Ahmed, Naeem Mehmood and Mansoor Raza Rizvi were named in the reference. The statements of 42 witnesses including the investigating officer were recorded in the reference.
